Set traps and secure protein with modern equipment.

Wild game may be your primary source of nutrition in a survival situation, especially during the winter months. In Modern Trapper, you will acquire a thorough understanding of traps designed to trap animals for both protein and fur, including body hold traps, modern snares, and foothold traps.

State laws regarding trapping vary, but when it’s an emergency situation and protein is needed, you will be thankful to have these skills in your arsenal. Whether it’s a natural disaster, hunting trip, pest control or to supplement diet and income, modern trapping is the most effective and calorie-efficient method of responsibly harvesting meat.

Modern traps can seem intimidating or even dangerous to the uninitiated. Don’t let this valuable skill set pass you by. This is the perfect intro to a guaranteed way to procure protein with an emphasis on safety and responsible trapping practices. Not just skills for on the trapline, but with a survival mindset as well. How to get by with less gear and still get the catch!

Attendees will leave with the ability to set and use modern traps safely and properly to secure protein or fur in a survival situation. Leveraging a survival mindset, they will gain more than the ability to set a trapline, but understand how to minimize gear and optimize effectiveness in trapping.
