Flintlock is the survival event you can’t miss! Join Flint & Steel’s network of world-class instructors to learn a variety of emergency survival and primitive skills. Bringing together experience gained from decades of teaching in a variety of different environments and backgrounds, this is an opportunity to learn from a the diverse group of survival schools and instructors who make up Flint & Steel. This year’s event will have 3 tracks – a general track, primitive skills and emergency skills.

Camping & Accommodations: Primitive camping is included in the ticket price. There will be a large field for attendees to set up tents. There is no electric / water hook-ups at the campsite and it is not RV accessible.

Tent camping will be located within walking distance of vehicle parking. Camping next to vehicles will not be an option due to limited parking, however camping in vehicles is fine.

If you would like to utilize an RV, we recommend these nearby RV parks:
Closest RV campgrounds is Prairie Creek https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/232680

There are other RV parks in the area but the distance is much farther. For a list of other campgrounds in the area please visit nw arkansas rv campgrounds

Personal campfires are prohibited. There will be a large main camp fire pit that will be
available for use throughout the weekend for cooking, boiling water, enjoyment, and firecraft.

Camp Quiet Hours – 10:00 pm – 6:00 am

Restroom Facilities: Portable toilets will be available at the Flintlock event for guests. We will not have portable showers available.

Food & Beverages: Food and beverages are not included in the event ticket. We ask attendees to plan on bringing their own food and water for the event. We will have water jugs available to refill water bottles and bottled water for sale. We are working to secure food vendor for the event as well and will update everyone if we are able to do so. We do plan to offer a small continental breakfast to attendees with cereals and fruit.

Firearms Policy: Arkansas is an open carry state. We support the second amendment and your right to carry but ask that at this event you either carry concealed or store your gun safely locked in your vehicle.
